WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS: the epic comic
WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS is a comic about mythological creatures trying to find their place in the modern world. The comic covers themes of identity and belonging through the lens of three main characters—the titular Centaurs, who make a living (barely) by being pro wrestlers.
If you’re not into wrestling, don’t worry; it’s not really about that. But it is funny. And poignant. And cute.
What people are saying about WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS
Actual quotes from actual readers:
“This seems like a fun romp at first, but it’s so much more.”
“Oh my gooooood I love these guys SO MUCH!!”
“I need to marry Ari.”
“This story has so much heart.”
“Hank! I just want to hug him!”
There are more, but you get the idea.
Oh but wait, there’s more
In addition to a kick-ass comic about wrestling Centaurs (and other Creatures) that you won’t want to miss, Like, Totally!! will have other aspects of this drawing-as-a-sanity-and-serenity-restoring thing I do. I’ll give you peeks into my sketchbook, tell you about art supplies I love, share my favorite graphic novels and books on drawing; and more fun.
The difference between paid and free subscriptions
I’ll be offering a decent amount of stuff for free on this newsletter, like all the sketchbook stuff, process drawings, art supply love, and the prompts for #Selfietember, my month-long self-portrait drawing challenge.
To keep WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS going, most of that comic will be on the paid subscriber level, aka the Cupcake Level. Paid subscribers will get all offerings on the free level, the WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS comics, and WRASSLIN’ CENTAURS extras, like bonus comics, interviews with the wrestlers, Hank the Cozy Minotaur’s recipe and knitting pattern recommendations, and more! If you can’t get enough of the gang from Creature Pro Wrestling and you’ve fallen in love with Ari (see below), you want to be on the Cupcake Level.
